Eclipse U18 Premier Boys
Had a fantastic 2013-2014 season and had The opportunity to represent South Texas at Regionals  in Baton Rouge, LA U18's ADVANCED to Quarter Finals After beating Alabama 2-0, South Carolina 5-1, and Mississippi 0-0 tie in Group Stage Boys faced a tough Florida team and ended up losing 0-1 to them.

Eclipse is very proud of this Group.  15 players from this team move on to play in College. 
We want to wish them The best!  Well done boys!

U13 Girls Make Furry Friends at the Memorial Day Tournament
Girls for Eclipse U13 Red and Black North narrowly missed out on winning the tournament but got the chance to model dogs available for adoption from Pup Squad http://pupsquad.org who cheered them on during the matches. 
The girls would also like to congratulate the U13 Black team on their great State Championship win.

 Michel Farhat, Will be attending Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana
this coming fall of 2014-2015 and will be studying Mechanical Engineering. He will be playing college soccer on the "Fightin' Engineers" Team. The Team is a Division III NCAA and is part of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Michel has been playing soccer since he was 5 years of age and has been playing for Eclipse Soccer Club for the past 7 years. He is looking forward to a great college soccer experience starting this coming summer but Will miss his Eclipse team mates and coaches.

2014 STYSA DIRECTORS CUP STATE CHAMPIONS
Eclipse Revolution 97B Boys U16 team continued its spring hot streak by performing at a very high level of play throughout the state championship tournament held at Lyndsay Lyons Park in Humble, playing three outstanding games, and bringing home the State Championship title to our Eclipse Soccer Club. The game scores were 2-1, 1-1, and 2-1 - in what was essentially the championship match.  CONGRATULATIONS boys for an outstanding season! 2014 STATE CHAMPS!!!
Eclipse 01G Black won the South Texas State Cup Championships over the Memorial Day weekend.  The team now moves on to the US Youth Soccer Southern Regional Championships to be played in Baton Rouge, LA over the week of June 19-26.  Best of luck girls!

Joseph Quiray is graduating from Strake Jesuit College Preparatory
He is the youngest of the 3 children in his family. He has been playing soccer since he was 5 years old. He has competed in tournaments and showcases in places such as Dallas, North Carolina, and Spain. Joseph will be playing soccer at the University of Dallas where he will study business. He is happy to have the opportunity to continue his soccer career in college and will continue to work hard and get better each and every day.

Eclipse Soccer Club would like to congratulate
All of our student athletes that will be going on to play soccer in college and continue with their passion. Our athletes managed to obtain scholarships from schools such as; St. Louis University, Baylor University, Incarnate Word University, University of New Mexico , UofH Victoria , Texas State, and UT Dallas, to mention some.   We wish them the best on their new journey and hope that they will conquer many new things.

Girls from Eclipse Red, Black North and Black combined to nibble through opponents at the recent Easter tournament. 
The team only conceded a single goal while Eclipse left their foes with nowhere to hide as they hopped all over the pitch to score ten goals.  Congratulations girls!

Gabo on his Way to UNM (University Of New México) (Div 1)

Gabriel "gabo" Camera – Midfielder for Eclipse Soccer Club & Houston Dynamo Academy, becomes the first member of the Lobo Soccer program from Venezuela. The midfielder is a third generation soccer player in his family who carries a 3.89 grade point average. Camera fits into the program’s philosophy with his quality on the ball and high-level decision making in the midfield.

Coach Fishbein on Camera: “Gabriel really came to our attention last summer. He’s a very technical player with an insatiable passion for the game. He has a mature soccer mind and will elevate the quality of play in every training session. Gabriel has had diverse playing experiences in both the United States and in Venezuela.”

Eclipse Girls Director of Coaching Rafa Brazo
Has been selected as Seven Lakes High School Mentor of the Year as well as one of 20 Mentors of the Year in Katy ISD.  Rafa mentors six students, most of which he has mentored since their freshman year.   He gives up conference periods and lunch periods to remain a positive force in each of their lives.  Congratulations Rafa!!!

U12G Black Competitive Champions of Challenge Presidents Day Invitational
Our U12 Girls played up in the U13 Competitive Division and were crowned Champions in two days of exciting soccer. Our girls fielded a tournament team that crossed over with a mix of girls from all three teams in the U12 program.
The future looks extremely bright ... way to go girls!

U14 Girls Red Team 00g win the Challenge Presidents Day Invitational
The u14 Girls RED team won their division of the 13th annual Challenge Presidents Day Invitational over the weekend of February 15-16. The team was 2-1 in bracket play and battled in the championship to a 1-1 tie sending the game to PK's.  A total of six PK's were taken by both teams. Our goal keeper blocked three of the opposing team's shots while our girls hit the back of the net four times placing us on top 4-3.

Eclipse International Cup brings in two U10 International teams.
Peterson School came from Mexico City to Sugarland this past week to play in our International Cup 2014.
Boys had a wonderful time , as well as their families over the weekend.
Best day turn out to be the friendly game one of our Eclipse Academy teams played vs Peterson School on Sunday. Eclipse team coached by Paul Rossetti said this was just awesome boys got to play on the big field 11 v 11.
Just a great experience over all for both our Eclipse boys and the two Peterson teams.
They are all really excited about coming back to our 2015 edition!
